36 18 33: A PICTORIAL HISTORY OF BARBIE

I designed and created a book called 36 18 33: A Pictorial History of Barbie. Through my research, I discovered that there is an extreme amount of controversy regarding Barbie’s irregular dimensions. The Book was named after her tall thin unrealistic figure. This 165-page, 17 inch by 9.25 inch book has five main sections: The Origin Of Barbie, Sum of Her Parts, Barbie As A Professional, Her Sense of Style, and Barbie’s Family Tree. Each section proves with photo cropping, vectored images, information graphics and a thin grid system that Barbie’s dimensions are unrealistic. Regardless, Barbie is a beautiful fetish object that has served as a phenomenon since 1959.
